Over the last month or two, I have received one persistent request - more music from the Lovetown era. Normally, I would readily satisfy such requests, but the Lovetown tour has one unique quality to it: very very very few actually good or better recordings. With all due respect to the dozens of tapers who captured and shared the Lovetown shows, most of them are not listenable. The quartet of shows in Dublin right after Christmas are almost the sole exception in terms of recording quality. Did the concerts suck? No! In fact, if you can force yourself to listen to an average Lovetown gig, you will find that many of the shows are highly enjoyable. It's just the overall recording quality is rarely up to my standards; I simply wouldn't share this stuff here.

And how fitting that this persistent requestee is the first to say many many thanks. How right you are about pretty much all LoveTown recordings. Theres practically nothing before Point that is considered good-very good. Such a shame to. This show is fantastic though. Thanks man

I've had this one sitting in utorrent for a day now and the download hasn't started. It's just in the red with no seeders or no peers. Any ideas?

Try downloading the torrent directly from Pirate Bay. That seems to work when downloading the torrent from here fails. Not sure why. About a half dozen folks have finished the torrent, so at least that part is good. Seems the PB tracker is a bit wonky - the torrent was in the red for hours last night after I started seeding and this morning it had automagically switched itself to green/working.
