Woah! What's this? Two bootlegs up on U2unes in one week? Hooduhthunkit, right? Well, I feel bad about slacking off so much lately, and I'm very much aware that after the beginning of March when my new little U2 fan arrives that I will likely not have as much time for this hobby. So it makes some sense to try to get as many bootlegs posted here between now and then as possible. With that in mind, here's another bootleg silver CD for all of you. This one is possibly even from a soundboard source, judging on how very clear and close Bono sounds. The audio quality is a little rough during the first few tracks, and there's some hiss throughout that fades a bit eventually, but once you get passed the less-than-stellar start there are several gems here. I really like "Fire" which makes a rare appearance, and "Rejoice" is what I think U2 should have played during their appearance at Barak Obama's recent pre-inaugural celebration. "October" is good but suffers a bit from that hiss I've mentioned. The concert itself is only 16 tracks, with three more tracks from other sources tacked on. One of the bonus tracks is an interview with Bono and the Edge (where Edge cracks a joke about his name), and while it is only 3 minutes long, it's great to see a tiny glimpse of what these very young men were thinking at the time. This performance in Albany, by the way, is their first American appearance for the October tour.
